Terms of Service

AcosControl · Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of AcosControl at acoscontrol.com ("AcosControl", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.

2. What AcosControl is

AcosControl is a subscription tool for authors and sellers who advertise on Amazon. It connects to your Amazon Advertising account with your permission, reads your campaign, keyword and placement performance, and produces recommendations — bid changes, placement adjustments, keyword harvesting and similar.

You decide what is applied. AcosControl does not change anything in your Amazon account unless you instruct it to through the application. Where you enable an automated rule, you remain responsible for the settings you chose and the changes it makes on your instruction.

3. 🔴 No guarantee of advertising results

Advertising outcomes depend on your books, prices, covers, reviews, competitors, seasonality, and Amazon's own auction — none of which we control. Recommendations are advisory only. We do not guarantee any level of sales, ACOS, profit, ranking or return on ad spend, and nothing in the product or our marketing should be read as such a promise.

Amazon advertising involves spending real money and you may lose money. You are responsible for the budgets, bids and spend limits set on your Amazon account.

Past results are not a guide to future results: a keyword, bid or search term that performed well before may not do so again. Figures in the application come from Amazon and may be delayed, restated or incomplete, so check anything important in your Amazon Ads console before you rely on it. Nothing in the service is financial, tax, legal or other professional advice.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You need your own Amazon Advertising account, and the authority to connect it.
  • Give accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One subscription covers one customer. Do not share access or resell the service without our written agreement.

Tell us promptly at support@acoscontrol.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4A. E-mails we send you

Service e-mails. By using AcosControl you agree that we may e-mail you about your account, billing and payments, security, and changes to these terms, and send you performance reports and alerts about your campaigns. These are part of the service and continue while you hold an account.

Marketing e-mails. We may also e-mail you tips, product news and offers. Each one includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing e-mails only, not service e-mails.

5. Free plan and paid plans

The Free plan has no charge and needs no payment method.

The Harvest and Pro plans have no free trial: the first payment is taken when you choose the plan, and your subscription renews monthly from that day until you cancel.

6. Subscription fees

The fee for each monthly billing period depends on your plan:

  • Free: no charge.
  • Harvest: US$19.99 per month.
  • Pro: US$49.99 per month, plus 2% of your Amazon ad spend above US$5,000 in that billing period. Ad spend means all your Amazon advertising: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display.

On Pro, ad spend at or below US$5,000 in a billing period adds nothing — the 2% applies only to the amount above that threshold. For example, US$7,000 of ad spend in a month is US$49.99 + 2% of US$2,000 (US$40.00) = US$89.99 for that month. Free and Harvest have no ad-spend fee.

Ad spend is measured across the Amazon Advertising profiles connected to your account, over the billing period, using the figures Amazon reports to us. The application shows your ad spend and the resulting charge for the current period before it is billed, on your subscription screen. Because Amazon may restate recent spend, the figure used is the one reported at the time of billing.

All amounts are in US dollars and exclusive of any sales tax, VAT or GST, which is added where required by law. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees; those are yours, not ours.

7. Billing and payment

  • Billing is monthly and recurring, on the same day of the month as the day your subscription started, or, if you later move up to a bigger plan, the day you moved up, until you cancel.
  • The fixed fee is charged for the period ahead; the ad-spend component is calculated on the period just ended.
  • Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • You authorise us to charge your payment method for each period until you cancel.

If a renewal payment fails, your paid features pause when the period you have paid for ends, which is the moment the renewal is charged. They stay paused until the payment goes through. We retry your card automatically and show a notice in the application. You can update your card at any time. You can also move to the Free plan: straight away if only the new month’s plan fee is unpaid, or, if an ad-spend fee is also unpaid, once that fee has been paid. The unpaid plan fee for the new month is then cancelled. After continued non-payment we may close the subscription.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, from the subscription screen in the application, without contacting us and without giving a reason.

  • Cancel during a paid month — your subscription stays active and you keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for. It then ends and is not renewed. Any ad-spend component accrued in that final period is charged at its end.

Because you keep the access you paid for until the period ends, monthly fees are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. This does not affect any refund right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

Deleting your account. If you delete your account in the application, any paid subscription is cancelled at once and access ends immediately. Any ad-spend fee built up in the current period up to that moment is charged then. Amounts you already owe remain payable. Fees for the current month are not refunded pro rata. This does not affect any refund right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

8A. Changing plans

Moving up to a bigger plan takes effect straight away. You are charged that day for a month of the new plan, less a credit for the unused part of your current month. Your monthly billing day moves to that day.

Moving down to a smaller paid plan takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. You keep your current plan until then. Nothing is credited or refunded. The ad-spend fee for that last month is charged on the terms of the plan you were on.

Moving to the Free plan is a cancellation (see §8). You keep your paid plan until the end of the month you have paid for.

The application shows what a change will cost before you confirm it.

9. Changes to fees

We may change our fees. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies to you, and the new price takes effect at your next billing period after that notice. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it takes effect.

10. Your Amazon connection

Connecting your Amazon Advertising account grants AcosControl permission to read your advertising data and, where you instruct it, to submit changes back to Amazon on your behalf. You confirm you are authorised to grant that permission for the accounts you connect.

Support access. You authorise AcosControl and its authorised support staff to access and view your AcosControl account, including the advertising data imported from the Amazon accounts you connect, in order to provide support, check that your data has imported correctly, investigate faults and keep the service working for you. Support access is limited to named administrators, every access is recorded, and what we see is used only to serve your account — never to benefit another customer. We will not change your bids, budgets or campaigns through support access unless you ask us to.

You can disconnect at any time from the application, which stops further access. Your use of Amazon Advertising remains subject to Amazon's own terms, and we are not responsible for Amazon's decisions, outages, data restatements, policy changes or account actions.

We are not Amazon. AcosControl is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon. Amazon and Amazon Ads are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Amazon may change, restrict or withdraw the access we rely on at any time. If it does, parts of the service may stop working, and that is not a breach of these terms by us.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service unlawfully, or to breach Amazon's terms or policies.
  • Access data belonging to another customer, or attempt to.
  • Probe, scan, overload or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy or resell the service, or scrape it at scale.
  • Share your credentials, or use the service on behalf of an undisclosed third party as an agency without our written agreement.

12. Your data and our intellectual property

Your advertising data remains yours. You grant us the permission needed to host and process it in order to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AcosControl — the software, interface, analysis methods, documentation and branding — remains ours. Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while it is active.

13. Availability

We aim to keep AcosControl available and accurate, but we provide it "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data Amazon supplies to us is complete or correct.

We may perform maintenance, and may add, change or withdraw features.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost rankings, wasted advertising spend, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Your responsibility to us. You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal costs, arising from claims made against us because of your breach of these terms, of Amazon’s policies or of the law in your use of the service, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

15. Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails and remains unpaid, or if required by law or by Amazon. Where we end your subscription without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the current period.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
